A data consultancy helps organisations store, protect, connect and use their data. At Big Data SA that covers backup and disaster recovery, cloud migration, data platforms, Power BI reporting, AI projects and POPIA compliance, plus the networks and infrastructure underneath it all.

Yes. We work with organisations of all sizes, from growing small businesses to large enterprises. Smaller businesses often start with a backup health check, Microsoft 365 backup or a Power BI dashboard sprint, then add more as they grow.

We deliver most services remotely, anywhere in South Africa. On-site work such as networking, cabling and server rooms is available in the main centres, and elsewhere by arrangement.

It depends on the size and scope of the work, so we quote after a free consultation. Assessments are usually fixed-price, projects are quoted in rand with clear deliverables, and managed services are billed monthly.

A backup is a copy of your data that you can restore if something is lost. Disaster recovery is the plan and the systems that get your whole business running again after a major incident, such as ransomware or a site failure, within an agreed time.

We sign NDAs, use only the access we need to do the job, and follow POPIA in how we handle personal information. Where data residency matters, we keep backups and workloads in South African cloud regions.
